Last week we enjoyed a healthy strike rate at the Gold Coast Magic Millions meeting, with 3 of our 4 selections saluting all at odds of $4.00 or more.
If you'd backed all of our 8 market mover tips with an even stake using the odds at the time of publication, you would have reeled in a very tidy 86% POT.
This week’s racing again throws up key betting opportunities based on the early market activity.
As always look for a further move close to start time, for extreme confidence.
Flemington Tips
Avenue Of Pleasure
Attracted strong support late in betting ($6.50 to $4.20) last start at Moonee Valley, before finding plenty of trouble when she was held up in the straight.
Expect Luke Nolan to track the leaders from just in behind and find clean air late to come with a late rush.
She looked to have much more to offer last time and given more luck here, she can easily be the big improver.
Red Heeler
Is from the shrewd Mick Kent yard, who are lethal when they stretch their horses out over this 1720m trip and beyond.
He was good here last start, when he chased hard to place 3 of 9 over the unsuitably short 1400m.
There looks to be good speed engaged and that will play right into his hands, by allowing the horse to get home hard.
High Bridge
Was a significant move late in betting ($4.60 to $3.90) last start, before charging up along the rail to just miss and finish 2 of 11.
This looks easier than the stakes grade event last start, when he went very close.
He will get back in the small field, however should have too much class and be collaring them all late. Yes.
Bill The Bee
Won well at Moonee Valley last start, when he peeled off the leaders backs to run on strongly over the 1600m.
Up to 1800m now suits, as he appears to relax in the run very well and has the tactical speed to race where he likes.
They are likely to push forward and settle just in behind the lead again, which should provide a dream run in transit.
Rosehill Tips
Cellsabeel
Must have improved dramatically at home since the debut run here 10 weeks ago, where she started at big odds ($21).
Her two lead up trials have been ultra impressive where she won both, although she had to be urged along early each time.
Blinkers are applied for the first time here, which can often be the winning move at this stage of their career.
Absolute Trust
Has been racing well on the Country circuit and does have Highway experience from two starts back, when he ran 4 of 11 at Randwick.
Tommy Berry is a key booking and would have had his choice to ride many of these.
Expect them to push forward from out wide in gate 9 and attempt to control it from out in front.
Stella Sea Sun
Although the Kris Lees stable is way out of form, when they back one it pays to follow.
Due to the high profile ownership (Gerry Harvey), the natural motivation to place this horse well should be strong.
With only a moderate tempo predicted, expect leading rider James McDonald to cruise across from gate 7 and find an ideal running position.
Big Parade
Is still lightly raced and looks to have plenty of talent.
He finished close-up (0.8 lengths) at Randwick last start behind a number of smart ones including Superium, and should appreciate the drop down in grade for this.
Expect them to find the front and they could dictate to them all if the pressure does not come.
