Harness tipster acquires legend status
Not surprisingly harness racing tipster Frank had another win at Globe Derby last night. He had 2 harness tips. Veddy Veddy Good came third at double figure odds and Lark Rise saluted the judge first paying $10.50 to his army of followers who took his tips last night.
A fluke for Frank? Hardly. Last Saturday he had 3 wins from his 4 tips. The Friday before that 3 wins from 4 tips again. His last 15 tips have produced no less than 10 winners and 4 placings. Incredibly only unplaced once in 15 tips. A very hard act to follow for any punter betting on any racing code.
A lucky run maybe? No, rather a representative example of what Frank dishes out week after week, month after month and now after 3 and a half years of tipping history registered at theGreatTipOff.com we can start to say, year after year. It wasn't always rosy for Frank, however his story of profitability serves as an inspiration for punters. It shows that you can learn and improve your way to profitability.
After starting to tip in 2009, in 2010 Frank lost 27% of money outlayed for the year taking his all-time win profit to a 23% loss.
He turned it around in 2011 when he posted a 42% win profit on turnover for the year raising his all-time profit up to a 9% loss.
In 2012 he took his yearly profitability even higher to 45% win profit on turnover raising his all-time profitability to 29%, which not only got him in the black but surpassed the level required to be crowned a Pro Tipster.
So far in 2013 his performance indicates that he is raising the bar even higher. Although early days, his current profitability in 2013 is 100%, which means he has doubled punters money following his tips. This freakish performance has raised his all-time profitability by 2 percentage points to 31%.
Frank has proven beyond any reasonable doubt that he is a legend when it comes to harness racing form analysis. The question now is just how high can he raise the bar in 2013?
