Gator gulps up huge profit

David Gately found a monster profit for his followers last Saturday.

While he tipped some good winners at Rosehill, it was at Caulfield where he cleaned up.

Gator ended the day in Melbourne with three winners and huge 126% POT.

But considering an additional four of his selections found a place, the profits could've been through the roof with a shade more luck.

In even better news for punters, racing returns to Flemington on Saturday where Gator's tipping stats stack up well. Over the past 365 days, he's notched up 8% POT at headquarters, with a win strike rate of 27%.

If you would like to purchase David's Saturday racing tips for this weekend, you can do that here.

To see how he went at Caulfield last week, read on.

David Gately's horse racing tips review at Caulfield 13th July 2019:

Race 1: #3 Star Surprise

Gator's best tip of the day came straight off the bat.

Star Surprise blew his rivals away to win at the brilliant odds of $10.60.

With nine races on the card, this win alone guaranteed a profit at Caulfield after just one race!

This is always a punter's dream start to the day.

Race 2: #5 Charlayne (Best Bet)

The second race of the day saw a blanket finish where the top five horses all finished within half a length.

Charlayne was in third place, just 0.3 lengths behind the winner.

However, at a decent $1.70 for the place, those who backed Gator's best each-way didn't feel the loss as bad.

Race 3: #8 Ballet Master

This was another tip that we hope you had for a place.

That's because Ballet Master fell just short in second, but paid a very generous $2.60.

Race 4: #1 Smart Elissim

This Hayes and Dabernig-trained gelding was a very popular choice on Saturday.

Unfortunately for everyone who backed him, he just fell short by half a length.

Race 5: #3 Organza

This hot favourite also ran second.

Race 6: #3 Tavirun

Gator got back into the winner's circle when Tavirun won easily in the sixth.

Tavirun rounded the bend full of running, and kicked away to win by a dominant 2.3 lengths.

He paid $2.80.

Race 7: #9 Gododdin

Gator went back to back when Gododdin made every post a winner in Race 7.

Craig Williams gave this filly the perfect front-running ride.

She had just enough petrol in the tank, and only won by a nose in the end.

But a win's a win, and at $4.90, this was a cracking result.

Race 8: #13 Soothing

After a stellar day's tipping, it only made sense that one of Gator's selections was bound to run a stinker.

This was it. Soothing finished at the tail of the field.

Race 9: #2 Villermont

Villermont also ran a poor race, finishing six lengths behind the winner.
