Doomben Race 1 Tip #7 Tracy May $1.90

This former Waller three-year-old filly has found herself a new home on the Sunshine Coast with Tony Gollan, and looks terribly hard to beat in her QLD debut here.

She has shown some potential down south with placings in both of her preparations and has run into a few class three-year-olds in her time. 

Her recent trial over the 840m at Doomben was everything you wanted to see and more, as she trucked through the line under a tight hold.

She’s nominated for two races today, however this race appears the better option over the 1100m and under the set-weights scale.

Drawn perfectly in barrier 3, Ryan Maloney can have her mid-field with cover and poised to strike on turning for home. 

I’m very happy to take to the odds-on quote with this girl as she looks a class above these.

Sale Race 6 Tip #1 That Girl $2.40

This lightly raced filly looks ready to fly first-up off a spell. 

She has had 2 recent Pakenham trials, the latest of which appeared to be a good hit out in readiness for this. 

With the in-form apprentice Cam Rawiller engaged, she gets in well at the weights considering her superior rating on this field.

This will be the easiest race That Girl has contested in her short career (5:1-3-0), all previous starts being in higher grade metro races. 

She's proven first-up (2:1-1-0) and also brings in a great SP profile, having started $4 or shorter in all career starts.

We are being offered a great price for her in this Class 1 affair, and I think she can get us the chocolates!

Canterbury Race 2 Tip #4 Royal Marine $3.60

He finished third on debut after beating home Rotator. That runner has since franked that form by winning her maiden by an impressive 3 lengths.

The Chris Waller trained galloper was then sent to Warwick Farm, where he was beaten by Academy who went on to claim victory again at his next start.

After being gelded late last year, Royal Marine recently matched motors in a recent trial with Lewis who is a BM70 winner.

Expect the ultimate gear change as well as the addition of the blinkers to have him raring to go for this first-up clash.
