Wyong Race 5 Tip #1 Derbari $3.00
This son of Dundeel has caught my eye from early on.
He went into my black-book after making good ground late in both trials during his first preparation.
He then worked to the line well in his first-up assignment, but found a few speedy types and looked to be screaming out for more ground.
Now with the run under his belt, he should be fitter second-up and finds an easier maiden than he contested on debut.
The extra 50m is a tick and if he can get a hot pace up front, look for him to be hitting the line hard.

Doomben Race 5 Tip #6 Royal Witness $2.30
This Sydney based galloper looks perfectly placed to break through for a much deserved win this preparation.
His last two efforts have been exceptional, where he looked the winner on both occasions only to be run down by some class horses.
Following a four week let-up two starts back, he was beaten in the last stride by God of Thunder and Miss Exactor.
He was then sent to Canberra for the Quality Open Sprint, where he led once again and was just beaten by Kosciusko winner Handle the Truth.
He'll be able to sit on-speed from the perfect draw in barrier 3 for this assignment, whilst gun QLD jockey Matthew McGillivray takes the reigns.
He meets a set weights Class 6 handicap without a lot of depth, and he has the superior Sydney and Canberra form-lines.
If he handles his first trip to the Sunshine State, he should be putting panels on this lot!

Ascot Race 6 Tip #8 Great Waters $34 each-way
Hunting for roughies is definitely not something I do, but the $34/$5 about Great Waters just looks wrong.
Despite receiving a poor steer, he flashed home late over the 1690m at Bunbury last start which suggests he'll relish the rise in distance here.
The speed in the race looks to be slow and from gate 1, look for him to position one back the fence and get the perfect trail into the race behind another fancy in Red Hot Tip.
Bob Peters horses are always hard to beat in these feature races but this runner is certainly worth an each way play.
