Warwick Farm Race 2 #2 Cock Match $13
Definitely in the running for the worst named horse award, but I think this two-year-old colt from the Waterhouse & Bott yard can gallop.
In his first trial he ran along with stablemate Bellevue Hill who subsequently came out on debut and won by 5 lengths. More recently that colt came second in the Todman Stakes to the favoured Golden slipper chance Yes Yes Yes.
At his second trial he showed above average ability again when going to the line with the proven Hightail, a last start placegetter in the Magic Millions.
The $13 looks well over the odds and should be played each-way.
Sandown Race 6 #5 Blonde Disposition $4.40
I was keen on this galloper last start when she broke her maiden at Seymour. She had placed third to the smart Amphitrite on debut and then ran in a couple of Group Two races before spelling.
Before returning last start she had jumped out great against quality horses including Spirit of Aquada, Santa Ana Lane, Shoals and Monday’s winner of the Listed AAMI Matrice Stakes, Snitzkraft.
The horse that ran second to her last start, Diamond Effort, has since came out and bolted in by a lazy 6 lengths to break her maiden.
I wouldn’t be surprised to see her measure up to Saturday class and if so she should be winning here.

Warwick Farm Race 3 #2 Evening Slippers $2.50
This two-year-old filly by Snitzel ran a solid third on debut behind Golden Slipper contender Time To Reign.
Franking the form in that race further, the second placed runner Bivouac won the listed Lonhro Plate two starts back and then ran a solid fourth in the Group Two Todman last Saturday.
Evening Slippers raced very green on that occasion with connections opting to send her out for a spell. She's since had two trials off a short break and has impressed, winning at both outings.
Drawn barrier one, expect Tim Clark to go straight to the front and make every post a winner. She looks a class above her rivals and ticks all the boxes going into her second career start.
