Sha Tin hosts the first Saturday meeting for the season, with 10-races on the "C" Course on turf.

This is a narrow track, which makes it difficult for backmarkers to navigate.

The weather should be good, with only a few showers predicted.

All eyes will be on rising stars Mighty Giant, Lucky Express and Sky Field as they battle it out in the last race on the card.

Aussie punters will be hoping Zac Purton can return to form. Purton's last winner came on 11th October and he has since had 30 rides without a win.

The gun hoop has 9 rides on today's card with most of them looking good chances, so expect him to bounce back today.

Sha Tin Race 2 Tip #2 Give Way Please $3.00

Give Way Please had one trial prior to his debut and will take significant improvement from his race-day experience.

Last time out, he jumped from the gate fast but Keith did not let him relax and go forward. As a result, he could only finish fifth.

He's produced strong gallops since his debut and looks to have matured mentally.

He will have the crossed nose band for the first time, which can help him stay focused and keep the speed.

Gate 12 is ideal for horses running for a straight course race. He can make a big improvement second-up and can break maiden on Saturday.

Sha Tin Race 5 Tip #2 Beauty Angel $3.00

Beauty Angel successfully scored a back-to-back wins last time out at Happy Valley.

It was a solid win for him, beating Red Elysees by 1.25-lengths who then placed at his next start up in Class 3.

Returning to Sha Tin 1800m is a plus given he was a course and distance winner last season.

He remains in Class 4 and looks well suited carrying second top weight of 58kg.

Zac Purton will be on board for the first time on Saturday, from the ideal barrier (2).

Purton can sit midfield with cover, before producing the son of Dark Angel for his third consecutive win.
