19/10/20 Best horse racing tips today

NSW racing kicks off the week in Muswellbrook on Monday, with eight races set for decision over the course of the afternoon.

The track is currently rated a Good 4 and there are light showers predicted to fall, which could see us racing on a Soft surface.

The rail is out 3m from the 1000m to 300m mark where the cutaway applies, and true for the remainder of the circuit.

 

 

Muswellbrook Race 5 Tip #2 Pink Beau $4.60

This Brazen Beau filly put in a nice first-up run behind the talented Free Rider at this track and distance. 

Formerly with Team Hawkes, she has since moved to the care of Kim Waugh who will have this girl winning races. 

She drops in grade and is well in with 3kg claim for Dylan Gibbons, who has ridden 3 winners from his last 10 rides. 

From barrier 6, she'll land on-pace in the running line before peeling off heels and flying at them late. 

She looks the class runner in the field and should get every chance today.

 

 

Muswellbrook Race 8 Tip #3 Lady Patricia $4.20

This lightly raced mare by Snitzel impressed with a strong 3.2 length win last start and can go on with it today. 

The time on the day was nothing special, but the growing margin between the winner and runner-up was the best part of her win. 

She has a stack of upside, retains Christian Reith, sticks to the 1000m off that win and has drawn well in barrier 1.

There is plenty of speed engaged here, so expect Reith to take a sit and watch it all unfold in front of him.

There are obvious dangers from the inside draw, but I'd expect the experienced Reith to pull the right reign, picking off his rivals one by one in the straight. 

This girl looks to have a stack of upside and I think we'll see an impressive run today.
