18/01/20 Harness racing tips: Albion Park

Back for the new year for Metro racing at Albion Park. 

The track has played fine of late and I expect no bias or any advantage for any runner tonight.

Race 2 REMEBERING TROIS FRERE QUALIFYING PACE ; 2138M ; 6.53PM 

Open sort of a race this one and I am keen on CARDLESFROMHEAVEN (11) even from the bad gate. This race is a lot easier than his first up run and he should be a bit closer to spot on for this one. Hoping with the extreme gate we get a better price, but this has a bit of class on these. 

BEEF CITY BLAZE (1) got buried last week and had too much work to do at the business end. Hopefully tonight he can kick up, take a trail on the right horse and with the first shot at the sprint lane, he will be right in the finish.  

THATS HOW WEROLL (6) seems to find a way to get beat but with the right run into the race he can really let down with a good sprint. If he can find the right helmet to follow at the right time, they will know he is in the race.

HARD TO HEAR (4) is going well but is a bit of a non winner in my books. Not sure what they do early with him but with a nice trip he isn't the worst here and could pop up but I will need a price to look at it.

Race 5 CHANGEOVER @ BURWOOD STUD MARES QUALIFYING PACE ; 1660M ; 8.24PM  

Backing my map pretty hard here. I'm keen on URBAN GIRL (1) kicking through and holding the front and being very hard to run down. Has been improving steadily in QLD and from the good gate gets her chance tonight.

CHINOOK WINDS (8) hasn't been getting much luck in her races of late but tonight she maps to get the perfect run. I am sure she is going better than her form reads and she is a major playing from the spot behind the leader.

I have the rest of the field basically write your own ticket as I do think if my main two selections are leader / behind leader the rest are next to none, but TRUNKEY DIGGER (5) is racing ok and can run into a place here

OUR DELIGHT (6) is a speedy mare and she might have a look early but she does normally leave her best form for the fence so a place looks her limit here.

Have to give MISS KEESHA (9) a mention. I don't give it much chance at all of winning but from the gate she has the option of dropping down to three fence and from there she is a good chance of punching up into a place.

Race 6 PRYDES EASIFEED QUALIFYING B PACE ; 2138M ; 8.55PM

It's been a bit of a waiting game with ARTISTIC SAINT (11) but on Thursday there was very good support for this money and funnily enough it was sent around to the breeze and went much better. If this horse is driven the same as it's last start and turns up tonight, they will be doing very well to beat it. 

TUESDAYS FELLA (9) went a lot better last time and this grade of race suits. Can get a nice run through at the start and with even luck in running should be hitting the line well and is a good chance.

HAVANA MOON (2) only has average numbers beside its name but gets a very good driver change and looks likely to be first to the fence. In this class of race, he is a live chance. 

MAJOR LUCKY (3) won on Wednesday night and did a good job considering the trip he had over the concluding stages. This class of race is suitable and with a nice run in transit is another with a chance.
